Yowah is a small opal mining town in South West Queensland. The school was established in 1998 and during this time the school has evolved into an oasis in this dry red land with lush green ovals surrounding the school buildings, a furtile veggie garden and a 'you beaut' chook pen. Currently the school has three students enrolled and Principal Murray Griffin has been at the school since October 2011.
